Danielle & Steve’s Sheraton Pittsburgh Airport Hotel Wedding Day was a beautiful mix of perfect fall weather, heart-felt moments and the coming together of two families to celebrate the union of a couple truly meant for one another. When I arrived at Danielle’s bridal suite, I had a huge warm welcome by her bridesmaids & family. The vibe of the room was calm with a mix upbeat energy as Danielle & her bridesmaids hustled to get ready, anxiously awaiting the day to start.

Steve & Danielle tied the knot at Sharon Presbyterian Church in Moon Township. What I loved was the church’s interior, which featured an wide open balcony that allowed for beautiful wide shots of the ceremony. My favorite black & white shots though came during their exchange of vows. All churches can be different in terms of how close to the alter I can get…luckily I was able to get in pretty close to capture their vows and I’do’s.
Afterwards, we ventured to Robin Hill Park for picturesque portraits. A scenic pathway located off to the side of the Park’s historic Mansion provided the perfect backdrop. The colorful pops of yellows & greens in the surrounding foliage was beautful! Steve & Danielle were so easy to photograph; their genuine expression & chemistry during their shots together was the perfect mix for these vibrant portraits. I was teasing Steve afterwards “you know, for someone that doesn’t like having their picture taken…you’re pretty darn photogenic.”

We then made a full circle back to the Sheraton Pittsburgh Airport Hotel to kick off their celebration of dinner, dancing & fun. The dance floor that evening remained steadily packed that night with an energetic mix of friends & family. These two families coming together to laugh, dance & celebrate was such a festive & spirited night to capture.
Danielle & Steve, thank you so much for asking me to be part of your wedding. I’m honored to have been a part of this big milestone for you two and I wish you the very best in your new life together!
