Chelsea & Kevin had a beautiful Pittsburgh wedding day at The Holy Trinity Church in Robinson Township & Clear Story Studio in The Southside. Seeing Kevin & Chelsea together reminded me of the best parts of what a loving relationship can be: deep connection, sincere affection, shared humor & a genuine appreciation of one another. When you find that one and only person to fill in the missing parts of you, you then realize it’s not possible to be in the same room without feeling that tethered connection. That’s when you know you’ve found the one. Their Clear Story Studio wedding day was a day to be remembered.

Chelsea & Kevin were such an easy going couple to spend the day with. Both kind, soft-spoken and welcoming, they made the day easy and the experience so much fun. Post ceremony, We took portraits along the Hot Metal Bridge at the far end of the Southside. At times this spot can be a little chaotic due to other wedding parties getting their photos here as well as the constant traffic of bicyclists photobombing shots (especially on Saturdays), surprisingly though it was pretty calm during our short window of time there…totally lucking out! My favorite series of pics were of Kevin & Chelsea together up top along the bridge pathway.
Clear Story Studio Wedding Day Photos
Chelsea & Kevin’s venue at Clear Story Studio was kind of a hidden gem in the heart of Pittsburgh’s Southside. If it weren’t for the venue’s outside signage, you’d probably drive right by thinking this gray brick building was another Southside warehouse. The Inside though featured a renovated wide open studio style space with an open central gourmet kitchen, modern wall art, and a dramatic style ceiling lit vibrantly with colorful accent lights. Hands down, one of my favorite elements of their reception that evening was the tapas style food stations……soooo good!
