Lauren & Kevin’s Heinz History Center wedding day was full of picturesque moments, a lively bridal party, & an epic dance party hosted at one of Pittsburgh’s most unique wedding venues. I loved working with these two simply because they were so much fun to be around…their joy & excitement was contagious. Throughout our day together it was rare seeing any sort of serious expression on Lauren’s face; she was so full of laughter & smiles at every turn in the day. As for Kevin, he’s an all-around kind & genuine guy. Its easy to see why these two found each other. At the end of the night when I said my goodbyes a simple handshake wouldn’t do with Kevin, instead I got a giant bearhug as a token of thanks. It was wonderful ending a wedding day with a couple that truly appreciated having me there. I’m grateful for that.

For creative wedding photos, we reserved the dome-shaped Rotunda at The Pennsylvanian. Its architecture & glass dome ceiling provided a fantastic setting for elegant wedding portraits of Lauren & Kevin. Also, being that there was lite rain drizzle that afternoon, The Rotunda provided the perfect spot for cover. Afterwards, we captured a handful of shots in front of Heinz History Center with their two pooches.
At the halfway point in the reception, Lauren surprised Kevin with a homemade donut station. It was the perfect sweet surprise being that Kevin is a donut aficionado. Capturing the fun innocence of these two laughing & eating donuts together signified for me how much Kevin & Lauren complete each other.
Lauren & Kevin, thank you for asking me to be your Pittsburgh wedding photographer. It was an honor & absolute blast to be a part of your fun day! Below are the full highlights from their Heinz History Center wedding day.
