Kelly & Brad’s Ace Hotel Pittsburgh wedding day was a beautiful combination of modern style mixed with rustic nostalgia. Nestled in the heart of Pittsburgh’s East Liberty neighborhood, The Ace Hotel Pittsburgh has given new life to a century old former YMCA building. This fantastic venue instantly became one of my favorites due to its unique look n’ feel of rustic old architecture polished with a modern touch. From tearful “I do’s” to wild & zany moments throughout the day, this fun-filled wedding day was picture-perfect!

The suites Kelly & Brad got ready in at the Ace Hotel Pittsburgh were the most unique & cool hotel rooms I’ve ever come across! Kelly’s suite featured a Music Hall turntable, acoustic Martin Guitar, a pristine classic style bathtub, and a two wall row of windows offering cascading bright light for room shots.
Their afternoon wedding ceremony took place in The Ace Hotel’s Ballroom, which featured a bright, high-ceiling classical style room with large windows overlooking views of East Liberty. The Intact 1920s era fixtures & details provided an aura of timeless romance that was the perfect setting for Kelly & Brad’s heartfelt vows.

Dinner and dancing that evening was held in the original gymnasium of the historic East Liberty YMCA. The gym’s rustic old world colors & textures infused with a modern layout created a truly one of a kind reception experience. Once the party kicked off with a full room of family, friends, lights, & music the gymnasium came alive with a reverberating spirit of celebration!
Aside from all the amazing details throughout the day it was Kelly & Brad’s true love, fun chemistry & heartfelt connection that made this wedding so special to photograph. These two didn’t hold back when it came to being silly and having fun, which is the thing I love most about them. Brad & Kelly’s shared sense of humor was right on par with their love for one another… a wonderful combination that makes for an incredible couple.
