Succop Nature Park wedding days provide a beautiful indoor/ outdoor mix that’s perfect for any couple planning a truly unique wedding day experience. The property consists of an 1830 historic Marcraig House, surrounded by fields, ponds, and an updated airy reception pavilion. The house accommodates two separate upstairs areas for the bride & groom’s prep that features wide-open rooms with a lot of comfortable space. Outdoor ceremonies at Succop are traditionally held in front of the house, overlooking a scenic field & trees in the background. Throughout the day guests are free to take a stroll around the properties trails, ponds & gardens. The reception pavilion is one of my favorite features at Succop Nature Park because it provides a perfect blend of an indoor/outdoor experience for your evening celebration. After dinner, guests have the option of dancing the night away inside, as well as mingling outside amongst family & friends during sunset. You can even get creative and plan a whiffle ball game after dinner as one couple did for all of the children that attended. As the evening continues, there’s also a firepit area for roasting marshmallows that’s a short distance away.
Succop Nature Park Wedding
What I enjoy most about my wedding days at Succop Nature Park is the calm and casual pace of events. With all of the day’s events occurring in one location, travel times and sticking to a strict schedule are non-factors. Every Couple has the flexibility of controlling the timing of their day as they see fit. With that in mind, this provides a lot of leverage for portrait picture taking as well. Creative portraits can be handled all at once after the ceremony or they can be broken up into segments throughout the day. At Succop Nature Park, there’s picturesque setting in every direction.
