Washington & Jefferson College Engagement Photography

This past weekend, I had the pleasure of heading down to Washington, PA to meet up with Colleen and Mark for their engagement session on the beautiful campus of Washington & Jefferson College. Their love story began right here during their college years, so it was only fitting to return to the place where it all started. With so many meaningful memories tied to W&J, the campus served as the perfect backdrop to celebrate this exciting new chapter in their journey together.

We lucked out with a gorgeous autumn afternoon—golden leaves scattered across the walkways and a soft, hazy sunset casting a warm glow over the historic buildings. The quiet Sunday atmosphere gave us full access to the scenic campus grounds, allowing us to explore and capture moments in front of iconic spots like Old Main. One of my favorite shots from the day is of Colleen and Mark standing hand-in-hand in front of that timeless building just before dusk, the light wrapping around them in the most romantic way.

Throughout the session, we kept things relaxed and natural, strolling through the campus and reminiscing about their college days. Their connection was effortless, and it truly showed in every frame. From laughter-filled moments on the steps of their old dorm to quiet embraces under the trees, every photo felt like a glimpse into their story.

Sessions like these are a reminder of how powerful location can be in telling a couple’s story. When the setting holds personal meaning, it adds a layer of authenticity and emotion that’s hard to replicate.

A huge thank you to Colleen and Mark for inviting me to be part of this special moment. I’m incredibly honored to capture not only their engagement but also their upcoming wedding in 2017. I’m already looking forward to what’s sure to be a beautiful celebration of love, laughter, and lasting memories.
