Schenley Park Engagements | Kelsey + Jonathan

Initially, Kelsey had her heart set on Phipps Conservatory pictures, but unfortunately we had to scrap that idea since their outside gardens were still not open yet. Instead, we decided on doing a Schenley Park engagement session, one of my favorite go-to spots in Pittsburgh for city park & trail portraits.

Schenley Park Engagement Session

The thing I loved most about Kelsey & Jonathan was the fact that they were open & up for anything. Their carefree mindset, combined with undeniable chemistry, led to an photogenic collection of vibrant shots. It was a quiet & calm Saturday evening as we began our walkabout at the Shenley Park’s visitors center. We trekked down through foliage covered trails towards Panther Hollow lake for the first half of the session. Afterwards, we took a short trip over to Pitt campus to close out the session by taking photos around the Cathedral of Learning.

I had a lot of fun in getting to know Jonathan & Kelsey, and I hope this session was a nice little warmup to shake off any picture taking jitters before their big day at the Mayernik Center this fall. Can’t wait to work with them again!

Below are some of my favorites I picked out from their engagement session.
