One of my favorite things about this venue is the open aired outdoor environment that’s created for guests. During cocktail hour guests can mingle outside and take a stroll through the rows of lavender crops while kids have an open area to run around and play. Throughout the day this venue fosters a lively community ambiance that’s wonderful for candid picture taking.

A significant benefit of having your Destiny Hill Farm wedding day all in one location is that it takes the time and hassle out of traveling to a secondary area for portrait picture taking. After the ceremony, portraits are captured in an adjacent picturesque field and when the photos are done, golf carts are available to escort you back to the barn venue for the start of your reception. If you truly want to immerse yourself in the country wedding experience though, there’s even a donkey & horse for photo ops. During the evening portion of a Destiny Hill Farm wedding day, festivities are split amongst two adjacent barns. The large central barn hosts the dinner & dancing festivities while the stable barn is the cocktail/evening bar area. The dual barns create a nice flow during receptions where guest can stretch their legs to walk around, mingle and do a little exploring. The farm’s fantastic layout and multiple spots for portraits make this all in one destination venue one of my favorite outdoor wedding venues to photograph.
