This fall wedding destination took me back to Destiny Hill Farm where rows of lavender fields and hazy-soft autumn sunlight were amazing gifts for wedding day photography. Jacquelyn & John are a great couple with whom I had the fun pleasure of shooting & getting to know. The one thing that stuck out the most to me about them was their shared a sense of calmness throughout the flow of their day. John & Jacquelyn didn’t bother to get caught up in any last minute distractions or wedding day stress, and instead focused on enjoying the moment as well as the excitement of everyone around them.
Their open aired ceremony took place atop the farms hill, followed by open field creative portraits, and a night culminated with non-stop country dancing & a whole lot of dancefloor boot stomping! There was the one definitive detail that defined their wedding, and it was their shared love of country style. Cowboy boots, vintage farm decor and more importantly “Luther” the donkey (who made his way into a couple portraits) all came together to create a definitive picture-perfect, country theme for their wedding day photography.
Watching Jacquelyn & John embrace the day in a down-to-earth relaxed vibe is how I envision all weddings day should be. I’m happy to have had the opportunity of capturing their wedding & I wish them a lifetime of happiness together.
