I recently photographed Kate & Alex’s fall engagement session in Pittsburgh’s Schenley Park. That particular late Sunday afternoon in the park was alive with walkers, joggers, readers and even a couple other portrait sessions. Everyone shared the same notion that day in trying to soak in one final warm & sunny fall afternoon before the Pittsburgh winter arrives.
We started out our session at the park entrance across from Phipps Conservatory and made our way down the windy trail paths to the park lake at the bottom, stopping along the way for photo ops. The combination of hazy sunset light and the vibrant fall foliage made for some fantastic portraits. I had a really nice time in getting to know Kate & Alex better and I’m looking forward to picking up right where we left off in a few months for their wedding.
