Downtown Pittsburgh Wedding Photographers | Matthew Blassey
When I met Leah & her bridesmaids at The Priory Suites to begin the day, I entered a room full of emotions (which is typical for this point in the day :-). Laughs being shared, pandora music playing, everyone rushing to get ready in time… all came together in creating quite a high energy day starter! However, pre-ceremony nerves & a little stress didn’t stop the perfect day from unfolding.
Leah & Kurt’s ceremony took place at the historic red brick St. Epiphany Church in downtown Pittsburgh. Afterwards, we headed to a city park on the Northside for some afternoon creative portraits, then off to Priory’s Grand Hall a few streets away to kick off dinner, heartfelt speeches, glow sticks, and insane dance moves to Beyonce hits! (and if you don’t believe me take a look at the picture of Kurt’s buddy dancing on his shoulders…haha)
Leah & Kurt were truly a fun & vibrant couple to photograph. Throughout the day’s fast pace events of friends & family pulling them in different directions, Leah & Kurt didn’t lose sight of their love & happiness for one another. Sharing their first dance together with their little girl was certainly the most memorable moment of the day to photograph. I’m very grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of their day.
Kurt & Leah, Congratulations to your new marriage & your young family. I wish you three a lifetime of love & great memories to come!
