North Shore Riverwalk Engagements | Colin + Emily

I met Colin & Emily outside of Heinz Field at Riverfront Park to kick off their North Shore engagement session. After a few months of calls, texts, & emails I was eager to finally these two face to face! Colin & Emily arrived relaxed & ready to go as we began our photo-walk-about down The Three Rivers Heritage Trail towards the Roberto Clemente Bridge, stopping along the way at my favorite spots. This engagement session was meaningful in the sense that it gave Emily & Colin the time in getting to know me as their photographer as well as allowing me the pleasure of getting to know them as a couple. An engagement session more often than not helps couples to feel more comfortable in front of my camera, helping to eliminating any jitters or stress. Emily & Colin, on the other hand, didn’t have to worry about any of that; these two came ready for pictures and were incredibly natural & photogenic to photograph. From the first to final shot, Emily & Colin were completely “present in the moment” during their stroll together and having a camera front & center didn’t hinder a thing.

I loved seeing connection & chemistry that became so alive in their pictures afterwards. The energy that I vibed off of these two was contagious…something I always love when taking engagement session portraits.
