North Shore Riverwalk Engagements | Danielle + Steve

This Sunday evening North Shore Engagement Session finally gave me the perfect opportunity to get to know Danielle & Steve. For our shoot, Danielle had her sights set on the North Shore’s riverwalk in combination with the Downtown Pittsburgh’s skyline. So with that in mind, I set our walkabout to start at Heinz Field and then end further down the riverwalk at the iconic fountain steps next to PNC Park. I totally had to hand it to Steve & Danielle for being troopers for the session because it was so incredibly hot & humid that evening! Luckily I came prepared with towels to minimize their sweat (and mine), I was adamant that no sweat was going to show up in their photos! This hot engagement session halfway through began feeling like an endurance test, but we held on and powered through 🙂 Once the sun started to dip though, it began cooling off (a well needed relief)!

North Shore Engagement Session

After we captured a closing round of North Shore shots down by the iconic fountain steps, we made one final stop up to Mount Washington, grabbing a handful of portraits set against an iconic backdrop view of the burgh. I’m glad we had a “pre-wedding” chance to get to know one another a little better, and I appreciated their toughness in sticking the session out on one of the most humid days of the summer.  I’m looking forward to picking up where we left off for their fall wedding that’s just a couple months away. It will be here before you know it!

Below are my favorites from their sunny evening North Shore Engagement Session.
