Karly & Dylan’s North Park Rose Barn Wedding Day was equal parts elegant, casual, & intimate. It’s no easy feat to create an intimate style wedding with a guest list larger than 75 guests, yet Karly & Dylan achieved that sought after ambiance for their special day. Together these two embraced a formal look & feel while keeping their wedding down-to-Earth, striking a harmony that was beautiful to capture. How they approached this day was what impressed me the most about Dylan & Karly. Not only did they thoughtfully take time to focus on the meaningful details of their day but they also managed to be present in-the-moment amongst their families & friends. These two were genuinely cool, calm & happy to share in this day together and it was awesome to witness.

Naturally, I was eager to capture these romantic moments…their vibrant, fun-loving, laid-back personalities shined in so many images.
After the ceremony, the weather began to take a turn as the winter wind started picking up off North Park Lake, making things very chilly, especially if you’re a bride standing outside in just a wedding dress. Dylan & Karly held firm though, making the sacrifice for photography and sticking it out for a beautiful set of intimate wedding portraits! As soon as I fired off my last needed shot, we rushed back to the Rose Barn for a much-needed thaw in preparation for speeches & dinner.

Elegantly trimmed with hanging lights & greenery, candles, chalkboards, and farmhouse tables, The Rose Barn created an inherent charm that reverberated throughout the room. Last but not least, this festive setup would not have been complete without an elaborate spread of gourmet donuts and cookies. Once the lights dimmed and the dance party started to come alive, the DJ illuminated the vaulted room’s ceiling and walls with a colorful flood of magenta & purple accents.
