Armstrong Farms Wedding | Pittsburgh Wedding Venues

Armstrong Farms is a historic 200-year-old farm venue with fully restored modern amenities, perfect for any country inspired wedding day.Armstrong Farms wedding days provide a peaceful countryside destination and an unforgettable experience. Located in Saxonburg, PA, Armstrong Farms is east of Cranberry Township and just 40 minutes northeast of downtown Pittsburgh. The signature features of this open venue are its Fieldstone & Westminister Barns, both dating back to the early 1800’s. These antique barns have been fully renovated yet still feature their original beams, siding, and foundation which give them their vintage style & charm.

Armstrong Farms Wedding Days

Armstrong Farms has become a favorite wedding destination in Western Pennsylvania due to its versatility. The farm can accommodate multiple wedding day sizes and styles. Couples have the option of planning their ceremony at the Fieldstone Barn’s outside garden or the Westminster Preserve’s Arbor & Pond. Receptions are hosted in either the Westminister Barn or the larger Fieldstone Barn that’s outfitted with air conditioning and geothermal heating. Couples getting married at Armstrong Farms have use of the entire venue for the weekend. The farm also features smaller houses so that the couple, friends and family can stay on site.

Armstrong Farms Weddings

What I love most about Armstrong Farms wedding days is the farm’s wide range of options for taking creative portraits. The surrounding pastures, pond, and scenic fields provide a fantastic countryside setting for beautiful wedding day portraits. Another nice advantage of having your wedding day all in one spot is the flexibility of when & where you choose to have your wedding day portraits taken. Depending on your day’s schedule you can choose to have them taken all at once or broken up into 2-3 segments throughout your day. With picturesque spots in every direction, it makes the photography aspect of your day a breeze. My recommendation is to also plan for a few bride & groom portraits after dinner in the surrounding fields during sunset (some of my favorite shots!) Below are some highlights from my Armstrong Farms wedding days.
